What are the best first-person "accent" audiobooks?

I started reading The Help by Kathryn Stockett and, a fast reader, found it hard to quickly follow the heavy Mississippi accent. It would have taken me twice as long to finish the book. I decided this would be good time to try listening to audio books for the first time. It was great. The book was in first person and was completely written in that heavy Southern accent. It was like the characters were telling me the story themselves. So I was wondering, what are some other books in first person (preferably with some type of accent) that would be great to listen to as well.
