How do you make it to where your website can accept credit card numbers as payment?

I use Authorize.net and it's a popular company to use. Your will NOT have access to their credit card numbers, all you will see is the last 4 digits of their number. You will need to have a module added to your website to use authorize.net to use it. I highly recommend them.
